Fondue & Skiing

For those who enjoy watching Cross-Country skiing, this is the best week of the year! The Tour de Ski - 8 days of races in 10 days in 3 different locations in two countries. After 3 days in Val Müstair in Switzerland and a rest/travel day yesterday, the races started again today in Toblach, Italy. The women raced over 10km today, and the men 15km.

Watching all that skiing is hungry work! So I indulged in this little ‘fondue’ - not really fondue but labelled as such by Lidl. A few minutes in a hot oven and a small baguette. I added some lingonberry jam. It was extremely tasty!

It was an exciting day. The American team have been doing so well (in a sport dominated by the Nordic countries). Jessie Diggins came in first and Rosie Brennan second.
