Soggy

We got up to torrential rain this morning. More accurately, I stayed in bed because it was comfy and I could hear the rain on the tent and didn't want to venture out. MrB and Little Miss took care of Abe and then played a game while they waited for me to get up.

Outside the tent, there was a quagmire, as I suspected. We moved on to our next stop fairly swiftly.

Back through Walhalla (the rain had made most people stay away, so we were able to see how cute it is without cars everywhere), and heading north. 

MrB has invested in a Michelle sack for the top of the car, so it keeps everything dry and dust free. Pretty amazing, since it housed our beds!

We arrived at a campsite and had a look around. The rain had stopped, but we were able to see where the rain pooled. We picked a spot out of the way, near the creek and, most importantly, on higher ground.

We decided we liked it, so we will stay here for a few days.
