The Millennium stone
Our first walk at Delamont this year - the paths were a bit of a challenge in places due to the frost and ice, but it's such a great place to walk. When we went to bed last night there was a heavy frost, but it must have lifted very early because there was no sign when we opened the curtains around 8am, and the cars were frost free.
The Millennium stone was erected to mark the Millennium (surprise, surprise!), and was actually erected by 1000 children, quite a feat, organising that many young people efficiently! There was a local TV programme, Ulster Giants, that featured the stone, it made very interesting watching.
