Skating ducks

The poor ducks were having trouble walking on the ice today and kept slipping and sliding. Many people were walking up and down the lane to visit the pond as a distraction in these lockdown times. Thankfully the ice had melted off the paths and roads, which made walking for humans easier. 
I do love their colours, especially the touch of purple. There were two ducks cuddled up to one another which I thought was lovely (extra). No social distancing worries for them!
