We understand that driving somewhere to walk is now frowned upon so we walked to the foot of Roundway Hill and then back via the town.

Town was very busy. Lots of cars on the road and lots of people drinking take away coffees in the Market Place. 

I saw a video of police arresting people in Bournemouth for sitting on benches or taking umbrage when being advised of the covid rules. If the police came to Devizes, they would have a field day!

Anyway, a foggy morning soon gave way to a sunny day and we enjoyed our walk.
