Waiting

The dogs just can't wait to run out after breakfast to chase the Turkey Vultures! These large birds 'overnight' in our tall trees. This morning I managed to get a photo of one before all of that happened. Both Turkey and Black Vultures are Winter residents here in North Central Florida. When Vultures are circling overhead and riding the thermals, while they search for a meal, they are called a 'kettle'. When that same group is perched on a tree, then they're called a 'committee', a 'venue' or a 'volt. So now you know!
A Peaceful Week to All. Be Well.
