East Linksness, Hoy

Bremners(Wullie, Emma and Emily) were the last folk to live in East Linksness.  It was quite a while ago.

A very miserable damp day.  A reading of 94.2 was recorded on the HQ Dreichometer.  Luckily, early a.m.,when we walked round to the pier it was precipitating down only gently.

Also very luckily for all Blippers I left my camera in Hoy.  Make good use of the respite.

A man got off the boat at Graemsay Pier with a pushbike.  The crew and all passengers advised him not to do this.  It was pointed out to him: the entire road network can be cycled in 15 minutes, the shelter at the pier has been permanently locked, it was 3 degrees C, it was slashing down, the boat wouldn't pick him up until 8 hours later and the inhabitants have tails.

In the category of 'Bizarre but True' a person unknown has posted an omlette to CMC's brother.
