Allotment City

These allotments have been in place only a few years, the land granted by Merton College, I believe, but the area has a pleasant buzz about it.  It must be an important part of lockdown, a place to go to that is productive and which passes the time.

That's the Gamlingay Community Turbine in the background, the Tithe Fund of which (I run it) has helped the allotments association to repair its long and expensive fence.
