Footprints in the snow

A bird wandered across the garden earlier in the morning and compressed the snow slightly (I suspect it was a wood pigeon). As the snow melted the not-so-compressed snow disappeared first - leaving these footprint shapes of ice behind. I suspect they've completely melted by now as there isn't much snow left.
