Leaf in hot water

Not quite.

This is a leaf in ice. Yesterday I cleared out a container we have used to put water out for the birds. I noticed the bock of ice was still there today; not surprising given how cold it has been. On closer inspection I saw the leaf, it is just being held in the ice now, and I thought it might make and interesting shot with the bubbles in the ice.

Somehow the ice looks like water with the frozen bubbles similar to the bubbles formed when water boils. It could just be me though.
