New Hobby

Airedaleknitter, Mr H and Reggie popped round yesterday with a knitting starter kit. It was lovely to see them in person, although at a social distance. Poor Reggie was confused because he wasn't allowed to come in and he was missing the chef who normally feeds him biscuits.

Anyway, I haven't put the knitting down since it arrived. I haven't knitted since I was a child, but managed to make little smoothie hats yesterday and felt brave enough to try a bigger hat today. I had to start over once, because I me made a big mistake, but soon caught up again. Also realised my left hand has muscles it doesn't often use.
