We had a lovely walk this morning and over lunchtime, following the Trans Pennine Trail as far as Wharncliffe Chase and then taking an alternative route back through farms, along minor country lanes (which were very icy) and back to our cars in the Trans Pennine Trail car-park.  I’ve often thought about how those farms are accessed and today I discovered.  Somewhere I probably have a photo that I can use to show them up on the hillside.
