Winter garden

The thaw has set in and for the first time in twelve days we were able to drive into town for a “click and collect”.

We expected it to be very quiet on a Sunday afternoon especially as we are in the middle of a lockdown.
Not at all. Bridge of Allan was buzzing with groups of people socialising with their takeaway food, coffees, piazzas and fish and chips.
It looked like party time.

As for the road it was very busy. M reminisced how in the first lockdown he was able to cycle into Stirling hardly meeting any traffic. Today it was back to pre Covid days.

Clearly the government exhortation to reduce outdoor gatherings to only two people is falling on deaf ears.
