Clarach

This embroidery of my husband's grandfather's cottage in Wales was a place he often went with his family for their summer holidays. The embroidery was done. By his elder sister, Kathleen, who also stayed there. It overlooks the village of Borth and it was very remote all those years ago. Now the valley has been taken over by a vast caravan site - and he was very disappointed when we went to see it more recently. The cottage is a typical Welsh country cottage!
