Back to Life, Back to Reality

That was a classic song but today was the 1st day back to work.
Busy as usual but always feel like a rabbit in the headlights on that 1st day.

Needed to plan something for the not too distant future.
A small multi-day hike looks a good option now that both Emma and Julie are showing an interest in that. There are a couple of long weekends coming up at the beginning of Feb.
Taranaki last erupted in 1755, but rather than challenge the summit, the Pouakai Circuit would be a better 2-day trip for those of us that need to work on our fitness.

Emma got her AS-Level results back today. Posted online at 7 pm (NZ Time) She worked very hard all year that was disrupted by COVID with a lot of online learning. Deservedly good results. Mum and Dad are both happy :)
