The Water Tower

Well its Monday again. Knowing what day of the week it is has been something of a problem during lock dow. Monday was always the start of the week and a chance to look forward and see what the coming week would bring.

The weekend was always something to look forward to as you got towards Friday. Always made me smile when I saw a TGI Fridays restaurant. Perhaps it needs a makeover when the pandemic has been eradicated; "Thank God its Freedom".

Checked my emails and SPAM has arrived to start the week. I have unsubscribed to so many sources of junk email but there still are some. Having translated one Spanish email some while ago and finding the Spanish word for unsubscribe I hit the button and hoped. Unfortunately, its like the virus, it comes in waves.

Disorientation at the start of the week compounded by an Amazon email tempting me to buy Christmas Cushions. Is this the earliest advert for Xmas?

My Camera Magazine has arrived and there are tempting adds to upgrade equipment. Very tempting but cash flow, or lack of it, may not help here.

This image for today was taken on New Years Eve. Given that we follow all the back roads avoiding people for our exercise, this still came as a big surprise. Its not the kind of contraption you would expect to find in a heavily built up area. It felt like it needed to be a mono shot.

Hopefully you will have a good week, stay safe and by the time we get to Friday the COVID numbers will be on the decline.
