Chester Lake

We ventured into Kananaskis Country for a 12 km hike into Chester Lake. It was a glorious day. -15, sunshine, blue sky and glorious mountain views. The trail is split into 4 segments for snow shoers, hikers, cross country skiers and backcountry skiers. We chose to use the hiking trail with crampons but carried snowshoes in order to climb in 4 feet of snow to this view point at the trail end.
