Nothing is Ordinary

Ordinary used to have the connotation of ‘boring’. But oh how we long for the ordinary freedoms of going to work for an ordinary day, with the ability to be with people and see their faces, and not be mindful of the length of time you have spent in a patient’s room... or the much taken for granted ‘ordinary’ possibility of booking a plane ticket to visit much-missed family. I hope this changes the way I perceive and appreciate ordinary in the future...
