Frozen Inn

With temperatures down to minus 28 degrees Celsius last night, there was a snake of fog over the river this morning and a thick glace of snow and ice particles on the trees. By the afternoon when it was warm enough to go for a walk, it was possible to see that the river had completely frozen across. This is taken on the opposite side to yesterday's photo, so the difference of an extra night of freezing temperatures is quite dramatic.
Feeling very lucky to have this on our doorstep.
