New Backdoor shoes

First of all I'd like to thank everyone who left comments, stars and comments on my blip yesterday. The reaction to my big reveal was really quite overwhelming. I think that the last time that I felt this way was when I came out of my PhD viva!

Today I made the finishing touches to my no-longer-secret recreational project. I altered the profile information for Lorna's blipfoto journal, and wrote an obituary for her. I also hand-wrote four letters to friends who had included missives to me in their Christmas cards. These were: to my oldest friend Eileen; to two friends from senior school (Lindsey and Katharine); and to my dear friend Val, who I know from a secondment that I undertook in London in 2006. I have another couple  of letters to write tomorrow - my last day of holiday before I return to work (aaargh!)

We had an early supper because it's my book group meeting on Zoom tonight. We're discussing Mexican gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. Meanwhile Mr hazelh will have his own online meeting - with his pals to discuss beer.

I have blipped my wonderful new Backdoor shoes. They arrived as an unexpected present in the post from (lapsed blipper) ClarissaFox at the weekend, and I love them!
