More memories

This is another Christmas present. We lived in Thaxted for many years and our former neighbour kindly send this gift.

It was produced by the Friends of Thaxted Church and the people of Thaxted. It is interesting to see this picture as it must have been taken from a drone, as there it nothing high enough to get this angle of Watling St, which is the main road in the centre of the village. 

It was taken on a Friday!!! How do I know that ........a market stall on the very wide pavement at the bottom of the picture. I used to get super cheese, fish, vegetables and bread each week. Not sure if it is still as comprehensive these days.
