Where are the mice?

A capture of an area of the living room, the one we finally got around to repairing, updating, preserving...making liveable. We sure aren't missing the mould and damp, the flaky paint and peeling ceiling, the wind and rain coming in through the window AND the rustling mice in the woodwork and resident slugs in the carpet. Still shelves to be added into the alcoves for the books that are still stored but what joy to be so warm in winter now!
