Tiny Tuesday . . Venus Clam

We had a swim this afternoon and the tide was very low.  There were a lot of shells exposed and I picked up these ones because the bands of colour attracted my attention.  Looking on line I think they are part of the large clam family.  They aren't tiny but I wondered what the ridges on the shells would look like in macro.
