We're feeling a bit pleased with ourselves today for applying the second coat of decking oil on our newly re-timbered (spotted-gum) deck. The earthy, contrasting tones and the warm sheen by themselves vindicate the hard slog on a fairly warm day; but more than that, we won't have to do it again for another 6-12 months. According to the blurb on the can.
In my book, that's quite a handsome return on the outlay, making for a very sound investment.
