Walk

We belong to two walking groups.  One is more of a social walking group, but the other is more serious.  This was our walk today through Cornwall Park, with the serious group, in the late afternoon.  It was lovely walking through the many trees in the park, which kept the sun off.  Normally I’d be up at the front, striding it out, but it was just too hot and, unusually, I felt very tired.  By the time we’d finished the walk and had a cup of tea and a chat I felt revived.
