Ernest Shackleton

I was doing Ministerial meetings in Perth today in the Fair Maid's House. The House is also the HQ of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society which came into being in 1884. As you might imagine the rooms are full of interesting things - one being this head of Shackleton, the great explorer of the Antarctic in the early years of the 20th century.

It was in a glass cabinet, lit inside & with all the room lights bouncing reflections everywhere. A bit difficult to manage.
