An otherwise humdrum day

So today was stunning. Perfect. Uninterrupted blue skies, a cooling breeze, perfect. And there I was stuck in front of two monitors analysing spreadsheets, attending conference calls, and dealing with incessant emails. Yes, it pays the bills. 

Anyway. Tomorrow, one of the best people we know and love dearly has her birthday. She loved the bouquet, and we agreed to a catch up at the weekend. Considering how things are going elsewhere in the world, there really is nothing much to complain about.
