Job Sharing

After our morning walkies I got the urge to clean the oven, something I've been putting off for ages as it is my most hated job!
Once I'd done the door, racks and roasting tray I realised I couldn't get right to the back of the oven without kneeling on my dodgy knee so Frank took over and did that. The oven is now shiny and sparkly clean :-)
We always share chores but Frank does nearly all the cooking and I do nearly all the cleaning. It works well for us ;-)
I also gave the bathroom a thorough clean including plugholes, skirtings and ledges etc.
Spring must be around the corner!
I certainly feel more motivated today and will make the most of my new found energy.
Tomorrow I plan to spring clean the rest of the kitchen and on Thursday sort out my fabric cupboard and storage unit. It makes me feel happy and more settled when the place is clean and tidy :-)
But for now, I can sit by the stove and draw and knit until teatime.

Home schooling is going well for the grandkids. Arlo is learning about the human body and Poppy is writing a play!
Today Little Lucy told her Mum she had to talk like the teacher, not like mummy!

It's been a lovely sunny day and Bella was able to lie outside on her pallet with a rug on top for a while.
