Lucky Dipper!

I had gone out this evening with the intention of getting a few shots of some standing stones.

The sun had been out for most of the day and I had a romantic notion of a lovely sunset shot with the standing stones in the foreground.
Ideally I should have scouted the stones out first, because then I would have known that they're situated in a dip, near the river, which meant they were well and truely in the shade by the time I got there!

Thankfully I spotted this little fellow, bobbing up and down in the river, on my way to the stones. So not a wasted trip after all :)
