Smoke alarm!

I was slightly alarmed when this caught my eye first thing this morning, but there was no need to worry: it was merely the steam from the cottage's heating system.

The lovely morning sunlight was a good omen for the rest of today - very, very cold and frosty, but beautiful :-)

Extra  -  Pookie! Very unusual for her to be so brave sociable!
