A survivor!

A cold, frosty morning but the sun was shining and the sky was blue ..... the kind of day, that despite the restrictions, it was just good to have a walk.

I met up with L and together we took the dogs to Pollok for a walk. Then just before lunchtime I walked to the chemist to collect a prescription. It was on my way home that I spotted this rather sad looking rose.

Unexpectedly, the tough guys from Openreach arrived this afternoon. To cut a very long story short I now have a hole in the back garden ... one Hellebore having been removed, temporarily I hope. The guys will be back first thing tomorrow to connect a new cable to the underground network and then feed it through the garden and under the road .....it’s all a bit too technical for me!
