How many points to a maple leaf?

My mum has Alzheimers, and I'm spending some time caring for her and trying to keep her in her home for another while. It's unexpectedly taxing. She's in hospital at the moment and I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to clear out clutter, like a receipt for a car tuneup in October 1972. Lighting my work is a lamp with a shade that dates to the 20s. Handmade, purportedly by some long lost paternal family member. This red maple leaf has survived quite a lot.
