Its the Way It Is

Venison

Sliced finely

Onto a hot pan with oil

Garlic, mushrooms

5 mins on high

Then reduce down with a glug of quality balsamic vinegar and some redcurrant jelly thrown onto pan (you can also use leftover cranberry sauce)

Served with lightly cooked broccoli and mashed potatoes. This is a tasty dinner.

Got 4 bottles of wine as Christmas gifts. 3 were white - don’t like the stuff so re-gifted them and just opened the bottle of red and had small glass. Very nice too. Called Les Launes Crozes 2018. I would recommend. Shades of Ribena - always good in my book.

It has rained all day in Dublin. Grey and miserable. I worked some overtime so have a few hours in the bank.
