Camouflage ducks

I met up with my daughter today for a walk by the river - it made a change from Southampton common! My elder daughter lives close to me so could justifiably have a walk with her and stay in the rules. Her children stayed at home with their dad. It was so lovely to see her and have a walk, just the two of us. There are two ducks in this picture, sitting on the branch, but they don’t show much as they are so well camouflaged. We also saw a kingfisher, which was very exciting but it was on the other side of the river so just a blue speck in the photos!
