REFLECTIONS IN A BIG PUDDLE
Neil ( my support bubble ) arrived around 12 noon and he spent some time fussing with Tino. ( He loves Tino. Lily .... not so much. She kept a low profile anyway ). Then we went for our walk. We walked up towards Sunniside along the main road and then went off into the countryside. It was nice and sunny but also cold. We found frozen puddles and a frozen pond as well as lots of frost everywhere. It was very muddy where there had been some thawing. I have added an Extra collage of more photos from our walk.
When we reached the Co-op Neil left me and set off walking home and I popped into the shop to get some healthy food. I started back on the Slimming World Plan yesterday so I needed to stock up on fresh fruit and veg - and I also got some packs of salmon and trout.

After sorting out the shopping I just relaxed and watched a bit of TV. Had my tea and then watched the footie on my computer. Newcastle were playing away against Sheffield United - 6pm kick off.. Now Sheff Utd are the team who are bottom of the Premiership table. The team who haven't won a Premiership game for 6 months. So you would think Newcastle would have had a good chance of beating them. But when you hear the commentator saying " Brilliant play from Sheff Utd" you know something is going wrong. And when he says " Sheff Utd have had 88% possession " -- again its not a good sign. Then Newcastle get a man sent off just before half time. And Sheff Utd are awarded a penalty after 75 mins - which they scored. Final score Sheff Utd 1 Newcastle 0. Newcastle really were on poor form. They never looked like winning the match. They are slowly moving down the table towards the relegation zone and they had better buck their ideas up quickly and start winning some matches or else they will be in big trouble.
