New doorbell

Lazy start to Saturday with pancakes for breakfast and then set to the jobs I'd been putting off for a while. The gate to front path needed fixing, one of the wooden posts had come off and after trying a quick fix a few weeks ago that didn't work I knew it needed a proper job, so removed the old wood, and scraped out the rotten wood from within the walls, then cemented the holes in the wall, before paint stripping and sanding the old wooden posts. Painted them up and left to dry over night. Once that was done I fitted the new 'ring' doorbell which am really impressed with. Then the evening was spent playing a few games of 'my city' before bed. Productive day but tomorrow will need a lot longer to strip the metal gate.
