Chocolate orange...

In my stocking from Nicki, Chris and the kids I got a chocolate orange and as I had leftover eggs and sour cream from my Christmas bake, I decided to experiment with Nigella’s quadruple chocolate loaf cake.

I bought some oils from Supernature Oils (check them out!) last year so I substituted some of the butter in the cake for 4ml of orange oil and added some chocolate orange slices to the sauce instead of the usual dark chocolate. I chopped up the rest of the chocolate orange to go on the top. I fear it may be death by cake!

Both tasted epic raw but I’ve not sliced the cake so the taste test will hopefully be tomorrow. Fingers crossed it’s good!
