WFH and exercise/essential shopping trip into town. 

I was shocked but not surprised by the latest scandal involving the Tory government and a private company, this time supplying food to kids who qualify for free school meals. It is shocking to see what this government appointed company provides for £30. Our veg box costs less but is far more substantial. This latest scandal is exemplary for the Tory meanness: do not trust those who need support with money but support your cronies with lucrative contracts. It is insulting to both those who need the support and those more fortunate who see their taxes spaffed up the wall. 

I've been wondering/worrying about the similarity of the Brexiteers' and the Indy supporters' arguments. In the end it is not the economy that wins the argument. The big difference between Brexit and Scexit is that the former is a backward looking power grab by the privileged while the latter is a chance for a modern, outward looking country.
