Summer cocktail

Rain, warmth and good soil...add a little magic and this is what happens to Agastache and Gaura (now called Oenothera). They are both close to a metre high, jostling each other for space, and arguing over who can attract the most bees and butterflies. We can hardly believe that this is for real, where in 1919-20 there was just a barren, weedy expanse!
