Cherry bark in the low winter sun

Loveliest of trees the cherry now...

The back of our tree, planted 4 years ago now, has a beautiful sheen that I really notice in winter.

Today the sun came out and it was high enough to stand on the front step and take morning coffee. I think I'm going to survive winter....
