A water splash

The previous owner said that the lane just above the house has a ‘water splash’ after heavy rain.  Splash is something of an understatement (might be a technical term) it actually rises right up the bank and gets very deep but this was after only one rainy night.  This is the limits of Woody’s tolerance to walking through it.  The fields either side are very sandy and indeed grow asparagus so the lane itself is like a beach...
