Love in a cold climate

Walked past these on my very wet walk round the park this morning. These budgerigars live, with about twenty others, in an aviary in the park and to my knowledge the aviary has been there for fifty years or more. Although I hate to see any animal or bird in a cage, they have plenty of room to fly around and a large, partly closed area at the back to stay warm and dry.
