Breakfast for three

The lamb, the calf and the hen all tucking into breakfast this morning when we went to our sons place. They were intent on eating although Rainbow will usually pause for a moment when she hears her name.

We fed the emus and saw that another egg had been laid and hidden in the grass. The weather seems awful for two months of sitting on eggs and George has not shown much interest yet. The eggs are an incredible colour ( photo in extras with a duck egg to show the size) The grass is growing well and the second field will be good for grazing this week.

Izzy and Tilly are coming for tea this evening so off we we go to collect them.
In other news from midnight tonight travel is banned to and from the Guernsey bailiwick without a special permit. A fine of £10,000 should anyone choose to cheat. There are 8 active cases of the virus locally, all in isolation.
