The Fountain - Staffield Hall

A victorian fountain in the grounds of this country house, no longer working now - used to be fed by gravity from a small reservoir of water up on the hillside but the clay pipework has disintegrated in parts. Looking South from the house down the Eden Valley through the oak parkland that links up to Kirkoswald (nice walk to the Fetherstone Arms - for some reason twice as long on the way back ).
