Winter Aconites

Lockdown 3

These bright little Winter Aconites have appeared among the undergrowth in the woods. There was little available light so I ended up shining my phone torch at them. A splash of cheery colour to brighten the worst day for covid deaths in this country since the pandemic began.
I don't think the full impact of Christmas 'mingling ' has even been felt yet. Elderly neighbours have had their vaccinations though. A ray of hope in a gloomy scene.
