Feel like you're being watched Ruby?

Ruby was quite engrossed in playing and the wood pigeon fluttered down onto the frame of the swing. After a short while, when it realised it wasn't getting our attention, it flew down onto the ground and came waddling towards the patio door. I told Ruby he/she was watching us and she went up to the door to watch it, and even tapped on the window but it just walked back and forth a few times before flying up to perch on top of the shed.
They are quite tame and generally don't even fly away if we go gently out of the back door.
