Moorish

ceridwen's blip from earlier today set me on a mission.
My favourite thing in the whole world is pattern, and so I needed to find out how easy or difficult it was to create the pattern made of cut-out paper glued onto a bottle made of some kind of animal hide.
The most sophisticated technology I used was factory-made paper, a factory-made flat surface on which to fold the paper carefully, and factory-made scissors. Nothing else.
It has taken me a few hours to make this, but I am not previously practised in the art, and I can promise you – folding a piece of paper into a 32-faced fan is no walk in the park.
