Destruction

Today I was so upset and angry with Sherborne Town Council - the beautiful rare tree which we had loved so much last Summer was needlessly cut down by workmen under orders from the Council .It is contained in the back of this lorry .

I Blipped it on the 24th April last year and explained how special it was .

It had outgrown its pot but could easily have been replanted .
I cannot understand such wanton destruction.It provided a wonderful habitat for bees, other insects and birds as well as shade for anyone resting on the nearby bench .:(
