Solitude

Today, I hiked the Rock Island Grade. The solitude is quite beautiful. It's hard work. You can see the road on the left. It's closed to traffic, though not many drive this even when it's open. I worked hard and pushed myself to climb up and up and up. About 2.5 miles and almost 3000' in elevation, I headed back down. Enjoying the view the entire time.
