Squirrel Trivet

I think my friend Lucy gave me this. In any case whenever I say or hear the word 'trivet' I think of her. She taught me the word, introduced me to the item. She and I shared a flat from 1997 to 2003 - my party years (maybe 1995-2005, the party decade?).

Squirrel and trivet are both funny words when you think about it. How funny then to have a squirrel trivet.

Can you tell it was a slow photo day?

This was on the table cause I'd done dinner. Has veg rice as part of it from the rice maker and I like to put the hot pot on the table for folks to serve themselves.

Unfortunately the spanish tortilla I made wasn't my best - bit dry and bland. I wasn't feeling inspired.
